Let It Snow

This mini album was given to me for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I was actually given from Teresa Collins Christmas Home Covers and 5 pages of BoBunny and was asked to create something.  So, I did and I hope  you like this mini album.  It is 8" X 8" and it took me a few days to complete.  The papers were about it snowing and since we live in Texas we only see snow every 3-5 years.  Some of these photos are taken here in Texas and a few are when we visited Colorado and we went to the top of Pikes Peak where it was snowing!!  Please enjoy this little mini album.

I used on this cover flowers from Prima and a white doiley and added lots of snowflakes from Maya Roads.

I love this paper from BoBunny and thought it would be perfect for my first page.  I added this little poem which is rather cute and then added lots of snowflakes!

These two pages are taken here in Texas.  The one on the left is the front of my home and the right page was taken early one morning and this is my backyard.  The early morning gave such a blue hue to the photo which I thought looks so cold and serene outside.  I used more BoBunny paper and added snowflakes and lace!

These two pictures are also taken at my home.  My oldest grandson was so excited about building a snowman and his Aunt Tiffany was also helping him.  Look at the photo on your right and notice how red his face is.  It is so cold outside!!!  I used a stencil by Prima and then used my ink pen to sketch inside of the stencil once I used ink to outline it.  I also used Prima flowers and lace.

These two photos were taken across the street from where I was working.  This was taken in 2009.  The photos show a farm house and on the right his tractor which is parked by the fence.  It was so snowing that the office was finally closed and we could go home.  We here in Texas have no idea how to drive in snow or ice!!!  Afterwards I was stuck at home for my driveway slopes downward into the garage and therefore I could not get my car out.  I used modeling paste for the leaves and then painted them with a light blue to give it a frosty look.  I then added flowers and lots of snowflakes.

These two photos were taken from my front porch.  The tree branches are snapping away from the trees due to the weight and the one on the right shows the tree branches so full of the beautiful snow.  This was one of the worst snow storms we have seen in  many years.  I added lace and flowers plus snowflakes.

These two photos are my grandson.  The one with him wearing his Texas sweatshirt was on top of Pikes Peak in Colorado.  I was wearing flip flops and shorts and was rather surprised to find snow!!!  I used flowers and lace plus the white doilies.

  1. SO frosty and festive! I like the doilies and lace, and the pretty blue flowers add great dimension, Ginger. What fun to get a bit of snow. Bet your grandson had a great time. No snow here in So Ca. :)
