Tea Party Mini Album

I designed this mini album for The Crafty Scrapper.  They are needing this to take to the convention in Arlington the first of June.  I really enjoyed making this.  I used photos from my daughter-in-laws baby shower.  We had it at the country club and we served tea and goodies.

This album was difficult due to the sizing of the paper to fit and cut out.  I then inked the sides to give it a more detailed look.  I then added all the goodies that was given to me plus many items from my stash at home.

Items Used:

Girls Paperie - Mixed Sources, Jubilee, and Vintage Whimsey
Star Dust Stickles
Martha Stewart - Luster Glass Microbeads- Kunzite
Chestnut Roan Ink
K & Company Die Cuts
Prima Flowers - various kinds
Maya Roads - Cloth banner
Tatered Angels Mist - Pink
Viva Pearl Pen

Thank you so much for looking!

Home Mini Album

This mini album and papaers were  given to me from The Crafty Scrapper.  I decided since the album said Home that I needed to show images of my home and the family.  I first painted the album green and then I used Chestnut Roan to add to the edges.  I then added this paper which I am not sure who made it.  I then added little rhinestones in the white squares and then added lots of ribbon.  I also used Diamonds stickles to accent around the edges as well.

This page is the front of my home.  I just love how cosy it looks and the American Flag.  I used October Afternoon alphabet "Where Your Story Begins" and then a die cut by K & Company.

I then decided to show that we often have our little grandchildren come to visit with us.  I used paper from Cosmo Cricket and I then added a little heart, flourish, gear which I painted, and added little flowers.  On the cardstock items I also added Diamonds stickles to make them sparkle.

On these two pages I wanted to show that at Christmas time I do alot of decorating and the photo on the left is our mantel.  I used Chestnut Roan Ink on the paper and then added embellies.  On the right is our Christmas tree and we also had Santa and his helper show up to surprise the grandchildren.  I did the same with the paper and then added a little bow, etc.

On these two pages I added photos of Easter.  They all come over the day before and we all will decorate eggs!  The grandchildren really enjoy this activity.  Of course the moms have to help as well.  On the left is my grandson and his mom.  I inked the paper and then added chipboard house and letters which I painted.  I then added a little key and flower.  On the right is Paityn and her mom and Kenzie and her mom.  I did the same with the paper and added a little flower ribbon and glass bead decoration.

The photos on the left is our home when it is snowing (which is almost never) and our grandson who built a little snowman.  Just looking at the photos gives me the shivers because it was soooo cold.  On the right are the grandchildren in our hot tub and having a great time.  Whether it is cold or hot they love getting in there to play around.  I inked the paper, added lots of flowers and then added buttons with thread running through them.

These two pages show our family.  The first photo is my hubby and myself and then our four children and their families.  I inked the paper and then added flowers, butterflies, and buttons!

This last page has pictures of our beautiful rose bush that blooms during this time of the year until the weather turns very cold normally in mid November.  I also found a little squirrel sitting in a little pot eating an acorn.  I inked the papers and then added rose lace by Maya Roads and a little bow.  On the last page it says home again so I did the same thing I did to the word Home at the beginning of the album.

The papers that was given to me was by Cosmo Cricket.  However, the other items I am just not sure who produced them but I really love how this little album turned out.

It was alot of fun showing that The Cameron's home is a welcoming place for our family and all their many activities.  For you see...they all live within 5 miles of our home.  What a joy that is and we are able to see them all the time.

Thank you for taking a peek!

Paityn

I LOVE this page that I created.  It is my youngest granddaughter Paityn.    I used Graphic 45 "Once Upon a Springtime paper which is so gorgeous!  I also used Creative Imagination paper, Glitz paper, Paper Studio paper as well.  The other papers are from my stach that I have had for years.  I then punch around the edges with a hole puncher which I then added Chestnut Roan ink.  I then added K & Company die cuts (bird, flowers, butterfly, and the little note).   I added Prima flowers to add some dimension.
