The Journey

This little photo was given to me from my grandmother.  As of today I am not sure what their names are other than I do know they are relatives.  I will have to visit Nenny and find out.  She has a very sharp memory and has seen 8 generations.  I love the Glitz papers  Afternoon Muze - Laced with Grace Rose.  I love the fact that it is slightly organge in color.  I thought it would work great with this photo.  I also used the Martha Stewart circle cutter which I truly love.  I did ink all around the edges of each piece of paper with Chestnut Roan Ink.    I used Maya Roads orange ribbon (roses) which I laid out on the circle.  I also had Creative Imagination stickers which is where The Journey came from.    I love Prima flowers and I had a white flower and I used Tattered Angels and sprayed it a pale yellow.  I also have a little flower punch which I did 5 flowers, inked them and then added a little bead for the eye of the flowers.  I punched out 2 little hearts and inked them as well.  I used alot of the butterflies from Creative Imagination as well as K & Company die cuts.   This layout took me about 4 hours to complete.

Thank you so much looking!

Listen To Your Heart

Here is another layout of my sweet granddaughter Kenzie.  She really love all the ruffles and the big bow in her hair.  In fact, she went to the spa and had her little toes painted.  I really loved these two photos.  These pictures were taken when she had her 3 year old pictures taken.  What a wonderful surprise when I got them!!

I used Creative Imaginations paper, Glitz paper, Pink Paislee Butterfly Wings paper and Prima Fresh Breeze paper.  They are so lovely and I wanted to capture Kenzie's sweetness to the paper.  I cute out the birdcage and added the thread to give it a feeling of hanging and also added "listen to your heart" with  the thread as well.  I took the other papers and glued the photos to them and then inked with Chestnut Roan.  I had the paper doilie which is square which  I really love and I added the ink to the edges as well.  I had this pretty green lace by Websters which I added pearl ink to the little circles.  I also used Prima flowers and Creative Imagination die cuts.

Thank you so much for looking!
