Graduation

I did this layout for the design team of The Crafty Scrapper.  They gave me such beautiful papers to use.  I have four children so I had to use each of their photos on this layout.  I used Bazzill black cardstock and then added Reminisce paper The Graduate which I cut out the inside because it was plain gold.  I then added Reminisce paper We did it paper.  They gave be part of a white zipper which I was determined to make a rose from it.  It rather turned out easy and I am looking forward to making another one on another layout!  I hope you like this layout and please go to www.thecraftyscrapper.com.

These are the items that I used:

Reminisce - Follow Your Dreams paper
Reminisce - We Did It paper
Reminisce - The Graduate paper
Bazzill - Black Cardstock
Zipper - White - Not sure who made it
Maya Roads - Large White Flowers
Prima - Buttons flower that was added to white flowers
Live Long  Love Much Ribbon - Not sure who made it
Gold Lace - Not sure who made it
Maya Roads - White rose lace
Reminisce - Die Cut Stickers
Archival -  Black Ink

Prom - Lets Dance

At last I have a project from The Crafty Scrapper.  I am on the design team and have been given several items to work on.  All my children are grown but I was given this paper on Prom.  When I noticed the beautiful pink/purple glitter paper I knew I had to do photos of my oldest daughter's prom which was taken in 1991!!  She did not want the normal long dress so we had this dress designed and created with all the details that Heather requested.  The lady even made a trip to California to get her shoes and earrings.  The photo on the right is her date Chris arriving and the middle photo is Heather pinning on him his flower at our home in Arlington, Texas.  The photo on the left was taken at their prom.  They both had a great time together and many fond memories.

I used many items on this layout and please see below the listed items:

Bazzill Black cardstock
Glitter Creations - Orchard paper
Reminisce - Prom paper
White Lace - Not sure who made this
Fabscrap - Lets Dance
Tim Holtz - Clock Die Cut
BoBunny - Trinket
Prima - Flowers
Reminisce - Die Cut Stickers
Tim Holtz - Hearts and Stars
Maya Roads - Stick Pins
EK Success - Pink Pearls
Diamond & Star Dust - Stickles
Purple, Pink, Lime Green - Making Memories Paint

Sally - My Sister

This pretty little photo is my younger sister Sally.  This photo is one of my very favorites of her as a little girl. She was about 2 years old and we were living in Van, Texas.  This photo was taken in 1955.  Needless to say it is done in black and white which I really love!  It has been a month or so since I have been able to complete a layout due to a slab leak at my home while we were on vacation with two of our grandchildren.  What a nightmare it has been to completely redo a bathroom and wait for carpet to be placed in every room in our home.

So, with great anxiety I finally sat down to do this layout which took me a few days to complete.  It was rather therapy and really helped me to come back to life.

Here is a list of the items that I used:

GCD Studio - Antiqueties Vintage Gears paper
Melissa Francis - Essie True paper
Tim HOltz - Birdcage Cut out
Martha Stewart - Cherish punch
Fray Ribbon - Garland Jac Rose
Prima -Cherry Blossom Branches Jubilee Flower
Clock Stamp
Stampin Up - Basic Black Ink
Tim Holtz - Heart
Prima - Corner Embellies
K & Company - Hydrangea cut out
Girls Paperie - Pink Newsprint Alphabet
Ranger - Shabby Shutters & Picket Fence Crackle Paint

Thank you so much for taking the time to look!!
