# 128 Sisters

I am sharing this layout that I have done for CSI Color Stories Inspiration.  It is case file # 128.

This photo is me when I was 5 and my sister Sally was 3 in 1956.  We have always been close but now that we are a lot older we now share in the responsibility of caring for our Mother who has Alzheimer's.  I have her medical and she her finances.  It has been a long several years, very hard at times, which we have even cried on many occasions.  Some out of frustrations and other times just because we are so tired.

The scheme:  I used all 5 colors
Evidence:   Flowers & Distressing
Testimony - Framed journaling
This layout took me several days to complete.  I really put a lot of thought into this for I wanted it to be so perfect about my feelings and journaling.

Here are some close ups of the layout.

Thank you for looking and please visit CSI Color Stories Inspiration.
I think you will enjoy it as much as I do.

# 127 - Always & Forever

Hello All!  this is my version of case # 127 at CSI Color Stories & Inspiration.  We were given a layout to use as our guide on this case.

This was the basic idea of the layout that was given to us.    This is very simple which I loved.  However, it is different than most of my layouts.  It really look me awhile to come up with this.  We will know on Wednesday who the winners are.

Please see close ups of what I did.

Thank you for taking a peek and please come back.  Also, please look at CSI color, stories, & Inspiration.

# 126 - Celebrate The First Day of Summer

These are two cute photos of took of my granddaughter Paityn while we were at the coast.  It was the first day of summer and she  put this little hat on and was ready to go to the beach.  Isn't  she cute!

I did this layout for case # 126 at CSI.  I had to use certain colors and ornaments and some journaling.

I have never won yet but that does not matter.  For you see I get to make a new layout each month and I find that completely satisfying!

Thank you for looking and please check out CSI Color Stories and Inspiration.

Texas

Leaky Shed Studios with Ginger

For the next couple of weeks, we will all be highlighting some fabulous chipboard pieces from
The Crafty Scrapper started stocking these amazing products a few months ago, so be sure
to look for them when you stop by!

Hi!  It's Ginger here with my newest layout!
Everyone was asked to pick their favorite piece to work with.
Since I was born and raised in Texas and I love windmills that is what I chose!
My husband took this photo of the longhorn and I found a picture of these bluebonnets.  For those of you who do not know me and my family we came to Texas in 1854 and settled in East Texas.  I can trace my family tree which we go way way back and we have always been southerners.  In fact there are 5 generations alive today with my grandmother being 102 (still lives in her own apartment and renewed her drivers license) and my youngest grandchild just turned 3!  I love telling this story!!!  I was lucky to know her parents who were born in 1880's.  In fact I had two children born in the 1970's  when my great grandmother died!!  Perhaps I will be lucky to live a long and healthy life like most of my relatives.  Please say a prayer that I may be so lucky!!  Amen!!
I found in my stash burnt orange cardstock and these wonderful papers of old wood and this green and brown paper.   I distressed them both.  On the windmill I used two stains and after drying I used crackle paint.  I then found some cardstock and cut out the little bricks and the flourish.  I cut the large photo into a circle and added the longhorn picture.
Here are some close up!
Thank you for taking a look at my project which was a complete joy to make!  Please visit The Crafty Scrapper to see a lot of great projects and layouts!  You might even see this layout of mine!!!

# 125 The Sea

This is Case # 125 at CSI this week.  I loved working with these colors.  This two little ones are my grandchildren, Paityn and Logan.  They were so lost in there thoughts that day while trying to build a sandcastle.  The birds were flying overhead so I had to combine these two photos.
