Milestone

I did this layout for CSI Color Stories Inspiration.  I love working on their challenges each month.  It really lets me think and decide what all needs to be done before I just go for it!  It allows me to use their colors, items needed in the layout and what the theme will be.  I love it!

Here is the layout I created for April.

Here is the challenge from CSI Color Stories Inspiration.

The Scheme:  I used all 5 colors

The Evidence:  Arabesque shape or pattern; Frames; Monogram (C - which is the first letter of our last name); Flowers, Silver metal

The Testimony:  Milestone - Love the time we spend together & When I follow my heart it leads me to you.  On the back is a tag which reads:
Eddie - We have been married for 47 years.  You are a wonderful husband, a great dad to our 4 children and a loving grandfather to our 5 grandbabies!  May we spend many more years together!  Love, Ginger

Adore

I did this sweet layout for CSI Color Stories Inspiration Challenge.  These two little ones belong to my daughter Heather.  She loves these little babies.  They are 1 year old and together they weight less than 10 pounds.

Here is the layout:

Aren't they the cutest little things!

Here is the challenge:

As you can see we needed to do something about pets! Plus we were given the sketch to go by which I did in my own way.

This is how I solved this case file # 227

The Scheme:  Used all 5 colors
The Evidence:  Flowers, Watercolors, Wood, Floral Pattern
The Testimony:  Adore - Fall in love with as many things as possible, A dream is a wish your heart makes, Embrace beautiful chaos

Behind the large photo I have written:
These two little ones belong to my daughter Heather.  There names are Ruby Rose and Lilly Mae.  They are so cute and sweet and together they weight less than 10 pounds.  She has a total of 6 dogs all are labs except for these two and another small dog.  I really think she loves these two the most.

Thank you for looking!

Dream

I did this layout for More Than Words Challenge.  I love seeing each month what the challenge may be.  It really causes me to think about which photo and all that I need to complete the layout.

This is my April layout.

We were to use black and white plus one color.  I even turned this photo into a pale blue.

Here is the challenge:

April 2017 Main Challenge
DREAM & BLACK/WHITE +1

Happy April Fool's Day!!!
No worries, we won't be fooling you today... it's no joke!
We DO have a brand new Main Challenge to reveal to you,
and we are sure that you are going to love it!
Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.
The challenge is open to layouts, canvases and art journal pages only.
Make sure to carefully read our instructions below.
Word Inspiration - DREAM
Creative Challenge - BLACK/WHITE +1
What does the word DREAM inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the word somewhere on your project or simply be inspired by it.  Please explain in your blog post how the word inspired you, if it is not already obvious.  We love to read about your inspiration.
For the creative challenge, we ask that you use BLACK & WHITE as the main colours of your project.  You are however allowed to add one more colour to the mix if you want.  So BLACK/WHITE +1!  Take note that the extra colour should only compose about 10% of your project, black and white remaining as the primary focus.
VERY IMPORTANT!
You have to incorporate both requirements of the challenge,
the word inspiration AND the creative challenge,
on your project to be eligible to win.
Just look at our designers' projects and descriptions as example.
Also, remember to include our board image and a link to our blog in your entry post.
