New York

I did this layout at CSI Color Stories and Inspiration.  I like the concept of doing challenges several times a month.  Otherwise I do become rather bored.  Anyway I created this layout New York.  I love going there and have been several times.  There is so much to see and do plus the people there are so amazing to watch.

There are special instructions that you need to meet in order to complete your layout.  I had to use all 5 colors that was given, use 3 elements -  which there were many to choose from, then I had to do a journal.  I have a hard time with that but  hopefully it will get better as time goes by.

Please see the close-ups!

The little yellow tag had my journaling on it. Like I said that part was very hard for me to do but I did it!!
Thank you for taking the time to look!  Come back and visit again!

June Tag

Well at long last I have finished June's Tag.  June is a very busy month with our 46th Anniversary on the 5th, June 12th is Ryan's birthday, June 19th is Father's Day, June 20th is Mandy's Birthday, and last but not least is Christopher's birthday June 25th.

But anyway, here is my June Tag.  It is similar to Tim Holtz tag.  I hope you enjoy seeing this!

I love how it turned out.  I was not too sure when I started this tag but eventually I really began to like it.  Please join in on the fun!

I did not have the Dapper that he had but I went online and found Dapper Dan and just printed it off and did a little fussy cutting.

Here are the close-ups!

Thanks again for looking!  Have a glorious day!

Happy Father's Day

I did this cute little clip-board for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I painted the clip-board and then added papers, modeling pasted, stencil, and then placed on a tag my Dad's photo (I miss him so much) and then a metal mustache and ribbon.

I also used gears and stained them with ink and I also added embossing powder to give them a old feeling.  I cut out all the little clocks and tucked them in to various places.  the number six I added micro beads.  On the little tag I added a photo of my Dad and placed a tag with Dad on it.  I love the metal mustache and the little flower!  I found in my stash various small letters.  This project did not take long to create.

Please see the close-ups!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look for it means the world to me!
