The Sea

I found this cute photo of my granddaughters Kenzie and Paityn.  I went rummaging through various papers and found these which look so gorgeous with the photo.  I also came across this chipboard sail boat and gears.  It is amazing what you can find by just going through all your goodies.  Trust me, never throw away items for you may find a new use for them.

Here are some close-ups.

Thank you for looking!

March Tag

Here is March tag.  However, it is much prettier up close and personal.  Instead of cutting out the butterfly I just punched it out.  Let me know what you think!

I used Stampendous on this tag.  In fact...a lot of it.  I then used Color Burst for the leaves and flowers and added lots of water.  Once it dried I added clear glue and different colors of micro beads.  On the butterflies I used a stencil and added various Gelatos.

Here are some close-ups of my tag!

I hope you like this and much as I do.  Thank you for looking and please join in on the fun with Tim Holtz 2016 tags!

Hello Gorgeous

I was asked by Carolyn to try out this NEW product.  I did several versions of Color Burst and I love each one.  This layout shows two ways to use them and each is so spectacular!

As you can see this is such a vivid layout with all the gorgeous colors!  The circle I cut out and added modeling paste.  Once it dried I spritzed with water and added various colors of Color Burst.  Then added a lot more water and swirled it around so it could settle within the circles.  Then let it dry.  I cut out two tags or banners and added water and then Color Burst.  Let it dry completely and you will have such rich vibrant colors.

Please see below the close-ups!

This was such a fun layout.   Please go to The Crafty Scrapper and on the back of this layout you will find the complete details of how this was made.

Cube with 4 Albums

I went to a retreat with my best friends Pam, Brenda, and Donna.  It was a lovely retreat and I accomplished a lot.  I did this beautiful box from scratch which hold 4 mini albums.  I labeled the albums with L,K,P, and C which are the initials of my grandchildren.

This is the front of the box.  I got this from Kathy Orta.  I just love how it turned out.  Only difference is the box under the drawer.  I found these little corner stands by Tim Holtz but it needed something a little taller so I could attach them.  So, I made this box to fit under the main box.  The hinge pulls out a little drawer.

This is the top of the box.  I found this metal piece at Hobby Lobby.  You can use whatever on the top but once I found this I knew it would work.  It fit with the metal of the drawer hinge and the legs.

This is the side and back.  I matched up the papers to tie it all together.

This is the other side and front of box.

These are the mini albums!  They are so cute.  Now all that is left to do is fill them with photos!

Thanks for looking!
