Love

Hello friends!  I did this layout for CSI Design Team.  I have this sweet photo of my granddaughter Kenzie when she was three.  Please join us in some fun here at CSI!!

Please see the challenge:

This is how I solved this case:

The Scheme:  I used all 5 colors
The Evidence:  Polka Dots, Butterflies, Texture Paste, Sprinkles
The Testimony:  Love - Be Your Beautiful Self

Please see the close-ups!

Here you can see the various papers and micro beads - plus the beautiful flowers.

I used punches on the outside of the paper and you can see the stencil  plus modeling paste which I then added watercolor.

Again you can see the layers and micro beads.

I added various layer behind the photo.

Here is a list of items that I used -

Martha Stewart punches - Deco Fan and Arch Lattice
Tim Holtz - Leaves die cut
Prima - Flowers; Stencil
Michael's - Love (word); Small blue Micro Beads
Prills - Bronze Micro Beads
Stampin' Up - The Background Stamp

Baby Blue Eyes

This little one is my youngest grandson Jaxson.  I did this layout for More Than Words.

The word inspiration is Delicate and we had to use fabrics.

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.
The challenge is open to layouts, canvases and art journal pages only.
Make sure to carefully read our instructions below.
Word Inspiration - DELICATE
Creative Challenge - FABRICS
What does the word DELICATE inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project
or simply be inspired by it.  Since, as you are aware, words
are an integral part of our challenges, we want to know
how this month's word stimulated your creative process,
so please do explain in your blog post how it inspired you!

For our creative challenge this month, we ask that you incorporate on your project some type(s) of FABRIC! You can decide to either do some lacing with your favourite satin ribbon, include a lovely piece of vintage lace, decorate with some burlap or even go trendy by adding a touch of denim. Dress up your project in whatever textile your creative heart fancies!

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT MTW RULES!
To be eligible to win, you have to incorporate both requirements of the challenge,
the word inspiration and the creative challenge.
Just look at our designers' projects and descriptions as examples.

You must also include our board image as well as a link to our blog in your entry post.  AND you may combine our challenge with no more than 2 other challenge

Here are my close-ups:

You can see here I used various papers, fabric, lace, and leather.  I used these flowers by Prima.

I used my computer on the Baby Blue Eyes, a stamp and stencil for the background then added watercolor and the sprinkling of color.

I also added the blue and bronze micro beads to the background and the flowers.

You can see here all the layering that I did.

This was a great challenge.  When I noticed the word Delicate I could not think of anything more fitting than a picture of a baby.  They are so delicate and sweet!

Thank you for looking and may you have a wonderful day!
