Our Pony

This is a photo of my grandchildren, Kenzie and Colby.  This is their little miniature pony Midnight and they are walking the horse around the stales.  They are so cute and they both love riding this pony.  When the weather is nice they will go for a ride or just walk Midnight.  They love seeing all the horses at the stales.

I used lots of paper, flowers, stencils, modeling paste, and chipboard.  I also added items that I have had around my home which I had stored away and hopefully one day I could use them.

Here are the items that I used:

Papers from The Paper Studio - Kirby Teesdale - Hobby Lobby
Chipboard - The Leaky Shed
Brown Paint - Making Memories
Rock Candy - Crackle Paint
Moss
Prima & Petaloo  - Flowers
Brown Stickles
Tim Holtz - Paper Distresser
Brown Ribbon - Hobby Lobby

Merry & Bright

I did this layout for The Crafty Scrapper Design Team.  This photo is my oldest child Heather and her fiance Troy.  My son Christopher had reindeers at his home and this is a photo of one of them.  Later Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up to visit the grandkids and their friends.  He read them a story and gave them a stocking with a cute gift.  What a great time we all had.  We do this a week or so before Christmas.  It really seems to get the children excited about having Santa come to visit and to be especially good!

Here is a list of products that I used:

Authentique - Tradition Call Paper
                    - Ornament Paper
                    - Iconic Paper
                    - Medley Paper
White / Gold Braid
Red/ White Ribbon - TCS
White & Blue Glitter
Petaloo & Prima - Flowers
BoBunny - Ornament
Making Memories - Oval Circle Cutter
EK Success - Pearls
Tim Holtz - Fired Brick Distress Ink
Martha Stewart - Floral Vine Punch
Red Cardstock - Bazzill
Maya Roads - Snowflakes

John F. Kennedy (Remembering)

This is a photo taken by my dad.  It is an old Polaroid and it is 50 years old.  It was given to me years ago and I had it tucked away.  Since this is the 50th Memorial of his death I thought I would bring it out to see it once more.  My dad and uncle owned a gallery in Dallas and Ft. Worth during that time (1963).  I was 12 and in my 7th grade history class when we received the news of JFK's death.   My dad was given this photo to have framed but before he returned it my dad took this photo.  I am hoping to have it enhanced so I can see the images much clearer.  Hopefully it can be done.  If anyone knows where or how it can be done I would appreciate you leaving a comment.

I hope everyone enjoys seeing this photo.  I remember watching on tv when Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as our new President.  We later met him at a Texas / OU football game and got his autograph.  Since then many things have changed.

Thank you again for looking!

Beautiful

This lovely little girl is my granaddaughter Kenzie.  A photographer took this photo and it is so sweet. She loves her cowboy boots and says when she grows up she wants to be a Cowgirl!  I just love her!!!

I used various papers that I have had for some time.  I do not even know where they came from but I really love the green and pink combination.  Which is Kenzie's two favorite colors!  I tore the green paper and added lace underneath various places.  I then inked with Tim Holtz distress ink the green and pink.  I also used a chicken wire stamp.  I tore and folded the upper left corner of the paper and added more lace.  I have the rose cutouts that I used to create the large and small pink roses and then added white beads to the inside.  I used so many different items in this layout.

Please see below the list of items that I used:

Pink & Green papers
Pink Ribbon
Chicken Wire Stamp
Tim Holtz - Distress Inks - Pink and Green
Rose Cut Outs
Prima and Petaloo - Flowers
Modeling Paste - Crafters Workshop
Green Thread
White Round Beads
Martha Stewart - Butterflies
Lace Doilie
Cheesecloth
Small White Pearls

BOO

These three little ones are my sweet grandchildren.  Kenzie was Aerial the Mermaid, Paityn was a witch, and Colby was Woody from Toy Story.  Of course these photos were taken before they had on their makeup, hats, etc.  Paityn in this photo is her being a Princess.

I did not have any Halloween paper so I had to use what I had on hand.  I found purple cardstock and this green paper which I have had for awhile.  I found in my stash the skull from Tim Holtz, a die cut of the clock and added modeling paste.  I also used lots of glitter and beads plus found the moss from an old plant that I had with silk flowers.  I also found a small corrugated chipboard too!

Here is a list of items that I used:

Purple Cardstock
Green paper - The Paper Studio - Hobby Lobby
Tim Holtz - Skull, Die Cut Clock
Paper Studio - Old House, Cat, Moon, and Bats - Hobby Lobby
Prima & Petaloo - Flowers
Brick Stencil - The Crafters Workshop
Homemade Modeling Paste - Gabrielle Pollacco (wonderful designer)
White , Black, Purple Paint - Making Memories
Dark Blue & Orange Beads - A gift from Patty Rogers
Silver Glitter - Melissa Francis
Purple Stickles

Thank you so much for looking!  Have a great day!
