Delight

This layout I did for " More Than Words Challenge" for the month of September.
I used this photo of my daughter and her nephew Colby.  She so loves all of
 her  nephews  and neice's.
This photo made my heart so full of Delight!

Here is the challenge!

Today I have my Septemver DT reveal for
More Than Words challenge & as always
they have EIGHT PRIZES on offer again this month.

Here is this months challenge board.
Remembering our challenges are always a two part challenge.
Both a word & a creative challenge too.

Our creative challenge this month is a recipe.......
Now you can use choose to scrap about your favourite recipe
& use whatever things you like
OR
You can follow our "art recipe"
ie use one of each of the things listed #1 to #4
OR
Combine them & use both like I have done here on my layout.

BUT REMEMBER TO ALSO USE THE WORD
'DELIGHT'

I used the word "Delight" and then added micro beads, a tag, flowers, and a few pieces of flair!  I so enjoyed this challenge and I hope you will too!

Here are my close-ups!

You can see on the tag is says:  This is my lovely daughter Heather holding her sweet nephew Colby.  This makes my heart full of Delight!

Thank you so much for looking and enjoy your day!

Adore

I did this layout for Scrap Africa.  I like the inspiration it gave me.  I had these two photos of my granddaughter Kenzie after she had her hair cut.    Please see below what I created.

Isn't her hair lovely!!

 So here's the sketch challenge.

Sep Sketch Challenge due 29 Aug

You can create a card, tag, layout, an altered project, journal pages or even a digital project!
You can create whatever you like! ;-)
We would just love to know what inspired you from the sketch and the sentiment behind your project!;-)

Please see the close-ups.

I used modeling paste with a stencil.   I also had a circle frame which I painted and then added a blue green cardstock which I cut into a small circle.

Here you can see I used two different colors of Gelatos to make the large circles around the photo.

I painted Adore with the same blue as the frame and then used stickles to make it shine.  I used two different micro beads and sprinkled the background with various colors.

Thank you for looking and as always have a great day!

Wish

Well here it is September!  Fall I wish was in the air but here in Texas the heat is just hanging on.  I did this tag for the Tim Holtz 16 Tags of 2016.  It is similar to his but once again I do not have all the items that he uses.  So please take a look!

Tim Holtzs' tag was gorgeous but I just used items that I had.  I liked the idea of a darker object so I took a picture of this little girl.  I embossed the tag and then used various inks to give it a darker feel.  I then added yellow embossing (lightly) and then added modeling paste with this stencil.  I found small butterflies.  I then added Wish and I found bits and pieces and added them to the top of the tag.  Then all it needed was a little white ribbon.

Please see the close-ups!

Please join in on the fun and thanks for looking!
