Missing You

Hello friends!  I did this layout for the design team at CSI.  This was a fun project for me because I found a photo of my grandfather watering his lovely flowers.  This brought back lots of memories for me because I spent many night with him and my grandmother in Tyler, Texas.  He did pass away in 1986 and he was in his 80's.  I miss him so!

This is the challenge:

Here are my close-ups:

There is a tag behind the photo which reads:

My loving Grandfather while watering his beautiful flowers in his front yard.  I loved this man for he was always so sweet and kind.  He also had a wonderful and delightful sense of humor which made everyone laugh!  He was a floor sander and worked so very hard.  I will always remember the good times we all shared.

This is a list of items that I used:

Bazzill - Gray cardstock
Tim Holtz - Clock Die-cut, Distress Ink ( Rusty Hinge & Peacock Feathers
Martha Stewart - Floral Vine Punch
Bo-Bunny - Butterfly Stamps
Prima - Stencil
Prima & Petaloo - Flowers
My Stash - Everything else!
Thank you for looking and Happy Scrapping!
Hugs – Ginger

  1. What a beautiful tribute page of your grand-father, Ginger. I'm sure he would have loved it.
How pretty is that punched border! It catches the eye right away. Those TH ink blots add a fun touch of colour to the background. I should use mine more often. I love the time piece cut files, and how the black elements really pop. Great job! TFS.
