I Believe In Fairies

This sweet little photo is my granddaughter Paityn.  I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I wish I could tell you the exact papers, etc. that I used but my NEW computer was attacked by the Ransomware Virus.  I lost so many pictures and documents that I could cry!  Anyway, please see this layout and I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I loved making it.

I cut out and left the outside border and attached it to another paper with pop-up dots.  I added modeling paste and added glitter.  I used this pretty gold ribbon and cut out the banner behind the photo.  I also cut out the dragon and I Believe in Fairies!

Thank you for looking!  I will be adding several more layouts without a list of items due to the virus.  But REMEMBER to ALWAYS backup your computer.  I lost thousands of photos and documents.  Many were saved but a year and a half was not.  Sad for me!

Captured Moments

I was going through photos and ran across this one which got my attention.  They are my parents about 10 years ago and me when I drove them to Houston to attend my cousins son's wedding.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had fun.  My dad was in the early stages of Parkinson and could not drive.  Now they are no longer here with us and it makes this photo so special.

 

 

I did several things to this layout.  I riped papers and inked them, cut out the clocks and added the Primas roses.  I got the chipboard from SA Crafters and used Gesso.  Once dried I added a green color to the leaves and a light brown to the rest.  I added the bow with the keys.  I also used distress paint and then modeling paste.  I love the whole process.

You Are The Coolest Pop Ever

 

Well I have to say I love how this layout turned out but I can not tell you what papers, etc. that I used.  Mainly because my NEW computer got the Ransomeware Virus and all pictures and documents have been encripted and they can not retrieve them at all!  Very sad cause the list of items were amongst all that and it makes it hard to remember the names of the items.  Anyway, please see this layout!

 

 

 

This is my youngest son Chris and his son Colby which refers to him as his mini me!  Colby is the sweetest little boy which his dad was a little devil!

Here you can see I tore the main paper and unerneath of had a corrigated piece which I added Gesso (thick) and then added the material and fringed it.  The extra fringe I tied into a knot and added the flower by Maya Roads.  I inked the gears and cut out everything else!

April Tag #4

Hello All!  This is my version of Tim Holtz's April tag.  I have used the same colors but just did it my way.  I hope you like it as much as I do.

I used ink on the background and then added the light blue wood paper which I embossed.   I cut out the little blue bird and add the string behind.  I then added little flowers on top of the blue printed flowers and beads to the smaller ones.  I also had a small piece of chipboard notes which I painted and then added Diamond stickles to make it sparkle.
