Be Mine

I really love, love this paper!  It was calling my name and I found this sweet photo of my granddaughter Paityn.  I really, really love this photo as well!  The paper is by Crate Paper - Love Note Collection!  They are so yummy!  I did this for The Crafty Scrapper Design Team and was given all the goodies to create this Valentine layout.

I stitched around the outside of both papers in black thread.  I then distressed the paper and added modeling paste and pink ink.  I used a lot of the embellishments that was given to me.  I had in my stash the round frame which I painted pink and added small white pearls.

Here you can see that I used white burlap which I fringed and then cut it out to match the corrugated cardstock.  I added white Gesso plus while it was still wet I added silver glitter. .  It really gives it a little sparkle!   I used by Maya Roads the pink flower ribbon.

I used light pink ink to add to the paper and then used  The Crafter's Workshop stencil.  I was given this cute little clothes pin with a heart and I gathered the ribbon to place it on.

I was given a wooden piece that I ran the ribbon through and added pearls to the top.  I used these beautiful flowers from Prima and added the wooden heart shape lock and the flower that says Be Mine.  I found some little leaves and a cute little bird to the top of the flowers.







This layout was really very easy to make except for the fringe and the corrugated cardstock which remember I used gesso paint and large silver glitter.
