Enchanted

It's Ginger here today with one of my newest layouts for the  Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  This one is called Enchanted.  My little granddaughter Kenzie is so sweet and precious. I used BoBuny and Simple Stories paper.  I love them because they look so feminine and soft.

I used various products from modeling paste, flowers, punch, ribbon, and wooden pieces.

Lots of Layouts

Well it has been a month since I posted anything.  I did these layouts when I went on a retreat with 3 friends.  I just had various papers and lots of goodies.  I can not remember the name of the papers and etc.  I hope you enjoy the layouts that I have created.

Love You

  I did this for the Design Team of The Crafty Scrapper.  This sweet girl is my granddaughter Kenzie when she was three.  She will be 7 in May.  I love this pape by Authentique - Treasure Collection.

I took the photo and then added another to the background but turned into black and white.  I really love this effect.  I used modeling paste, flowers, envelope, chipboard, and spray ink.

Friends Fur-ever & Going On An Egg Hunt

Well it has been awhile since I have been here on my blog.  I had a stroke...well actually two strokes within 24 hours.  I woke up and could not speak, move my right arm and my hand was curled up, plus my right leg was very wobbly!  As you can imagine I was very shock but quickly started doing exercise later that day.  The next day I was talking and could move my hand slightly.  On the second day the rehab had me walking and to my surprise I did very well.  Within 5 days I was moved to a rehabilitation center and was there for a week.  By that time I was talking, moving my arm and hand, and walking throughout the building.  I can write my name but writing a long sentence or paragraph my writing is beginning to be rather small and hard to read.  I am doing much better now but going to out patient rehab.  Things are looking much better.  My bad cholesterol was 185  and I had a lot of stress.   I have had to give up many things and now I am concentrating on taking care of myself and my husband.

Now on to these layouts.  I did these for The Crafty Scrapper in February and was to post them in March.  Well that did not happen.  So I am showing several layouts that I did for the design team.  This first one is my grandson Logan with his new and cute dog Stony.

Stoney has grown since this picture but he is still a puppy!  I used Bo Bunny Safari Beast Paper, Safari Kingdom Paper, Safari Habitat Paper, Safari Palms Paper and Safari Corrugated Paper.  I also used modeling paste, lots of flowers, punch cutter, etc.

This layout is called Going On An Egg Hunt.  I used the beautiful paper from Authentique Treasure Collection.  This is my grandson Colby getting ready to hunt for eggs.  He is wearing his cowboy hat, stripe shirt, pull-ups, cowboy boots (on the wrong feet) and holding his Easter bucket.

Snowflakes & Stars

Hello All!  I was asked to create something by using Smoothfoam.  I was given 3 snowflakes and two stars.  Honestly I just stared at them for awhile wondering what I may do with them.  Well...after over 24 hours I finally knew what needed to be done!

This is the largest snowflake.  I used beautiful paper and placed on the snowflake.  I found a sweet ornament and used lots of ribbon, flowers, bells, and other Christmas items.   I also used LOTS of glue.  I also found a ribbon that was silver with silver dots all over!

Next I used the two smaller snowflakes.  This time I decided to add the smaller one at the bottom of the snowflake and just let it rather dangle!  I used pretty blue paper and used various Christmas ornaments and flowers plus rick rack. 

Last but not least are the two stars.  I used burlap paper on the largest star and American flag paper on the smaller one.  I then glued the smaller star onto the larger one.  I added 3 Christmas ornaments that are rather western or I call County!  LOL  I then added lots of other Christmas decorations.

Let It Snow - 1956

I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  I love the papers and it took me back to days gone by. This is my younger sister Sally and Me while we were living in Van, Texas in 1956.  She was 3 and I was 5.  Look at all the gorgeous snow.  It is a very small town in East Texas and I remember getting so cold and lots of snow each year.

 

I did a lot of inking, punching, using modeling paste with a stencil, and adding lots of goodies.

Mom & Son

I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  This photo is several years old but it is one of my most favorites of my daughter Mandy and her son Logan.  It was taken at the Botanical Gardens in Ft. Worth.  

I was given this gorgeous paper by BoBunny - Madeleine Collection.  I used punches, gears, stencil, Gesso, modeling paste, fine point pen, ribbon, micro beads, and corrigated paper to complete this layout.
