Beach

This is my sweet gs Colby.  We were at the beach in Galveston, Texas and he was playing with the sea weed that was washed upon the shore.  I cut out his little photo with the sea weed.  I took this paper from BoBunny - Serenity Love - (I used the backside) and painted a little water and then added background dots.  I found some netting and used that with starfish and a real shell.  I then added a ships wheel, sail boat, and a sun.  I took banner pieces and painted them and added the words Beach to make a little banner at the top.  I then found red, white, and blue buttons to add a little something!!

Here are the items that I used:

BoBunny - Serenity Collection - Serenity Love Paper
Maya Roads - Banner Pieces
Buttons - Red, White, & Blue
Shell - Real one I got at the beach
Starfish - 2  (microsoft clipart)
Netting - Not sure who made this
Ships wheet, sailboat, & sun - microsoft clipart

Adventure

This is my son Chris, his wife Ashley, and their two children, Kenzie and Colby.  We were in Galveston for a week and we decided to take the ferry to Port Boliver.  This was a photo of them which I love!!!  I did most of the art work myself.  I copied a mask from Tim Holtz and sprayed around it with a mist and then I took a pen and outlined it several times.  Then I stamped on grungeboard and cut them out.  I took a larger stamp from Stampin Up and used that as part of the background.  I used more grungeboard and cut out the large clock and used stain.

I used the folllowing items:

Paper - Not sure who made this for I have had it awhile
Tim Holtz - Clock Die Cut; Stains - Rusty Hings & Chipped Sapphire, Grungepaper
Inkssentials - Glossy Accents
Dew Drops - Aqua & Bronze
Heart - Not sure who made this

I did this layout for the Design Team at The Crafty Scrapper.  This is my granddaughter Paityn last year at Halloween.  She was a very cute little angel.  However, she really loves things that are scary and this was her front yard.  Her dad works very hard to put up all the scary items around the house.  I used Graphic 45 Happy Haunting papers and they are so lovely!  I inked, distressed, sewed, and added lots of embellishments.

Here is a list of items that I used:
