Little Devil

This is my youngest grandson Colby.  A photographer took this cute little photo of him.  Doesn't he look like  a little devil!  LOL  Acutally he is a very sweet little one but he does have his moments!

I distressed, inked, used modeling paste, circle cutter, add flowers, etc. etc.

You can see the various layers that I used plus all the distressing.  I also used Tim Holtz flower cut out.  I found this little monkey in my stash and thought it would look great on this layout.

I used the largest rosette from Tim Holtz on this one and added a button.  I then added a wheel and a metal object plus cheesecloth.

I used plain yellow and red plastic stickers for little devil.  But they needed to stand out more so I used a black fine line marker to go around each letter.  This tip was given to me by Patty Rogers.

Here is a list of items that I used:

Paper Studio - Burlap Paper
Paper Studio - Birch Bark Paper
Paper Studio - Basic paper Pack
Prima Stencil - squares

Ice

Well living here is Texas the weather is almost always HOT except the last few days we have all been freezing!  An Arctic Blast showed its ugly head and we have had 2-4" of solid ice!  The temperatures have stayed below freezing for days!  At my home our garage is slightly downhill so it was impossible to get our cars out until Sunday afternoon!  We manage to take the shovel and scrap the driveway so we could get out.  We were so tired of being stuck in the house for three days!  We are still having difficulty driving especially on the overpasses!  But it seems to be getting better for the temperature is up to the 40's but dropping into the 20's at night.  By Friday, things should be back to normal.  LOL

I took this photo of my house and a close up of the trees.  Yes....we have had three large branches to fall off of our large tree in the front yard due to the weight of the ice.  I wanted this layout to look frosty.  It really looks better in person!  I distressed, inked, modeling paste, added glass bead gel, sprays, etc. etc.

I added flowers, leaves, which I added stickles, white lace,  plus I tore silver paper around the photo and added blue ink.

On this you can see the modeling paste and then spraying  with a mist which gives it a blue silvery look and makes the glass bead gels shimmer.  Again...you can see the details better in person.

I painted the snowflakes and then added blue glitter and a center.  If you look near the snowflake on your left you can see the glass bead gel better.

Here is a list of items that I used:

Bazzill - Purple Cardstock
Kirby Teesdale Paper Pack - Hobby Lobby
Maya Roads - Snowflakes

Smile

Here is a cute little photo of my granddaughter Paityn.  I just love this photo because she seems so grown up.  She is just four and I believe she has a lovely smile!  She is always so happy and she can really sing and dance.  Not kidding!!!  I really mean she can sing and dance which she has all the moves!!  She loves Taylor Swift and can sing and dance to each of her songs!!

I inked, distressed, added modeling paste, cut outs, burlap, and painted!

You can see the burlap which I pulled the strings and added flowers and a cut out of the dress form.

I used glittery white corrugated cardstock and inked with purple then added smile.  I had string left from the burlap and tied it into a knot and added a metal key.  I cut out two hearts and inked them as well.  I cut out the flowers on the bottom right corner and the butterfly.

I found this metal black bird sitting on a branch and decided to use it so used Gesso to paint it and then I wiped it off.  That way you can see the details.  I added flowers, plus I cut out the flower and butterfly.  I also used a stencil and used modeling paste.

Here is a list of the items that I used:

Fabscraps - Farm Fresh 2 Paper

I cut the side of the camo paper into a "v" and distressed it.  Then I added lots or flowers, metal, and dog bone, plus cheesecloth.

This is my oldest grandchild Logan.  He had just turned 13 when he and his friends went to camp.  He had a great time and made new friends as well.  However, it was an experience because he could not use his cell phone or any type of electronic games.  LOL  But there were a lot of activities!  He went to Pine Cove in Columbus, Texas.  Even though he turned 13 in August he is nearly 6' tall!  Wow!  His mother, my daughter, is 5'!  LOL

I used cardstock and paper which I had my stencil and modeling paste.  I then used distress ink and sprays and  I cut out the banners.  I used glass bead gel which I mixed with paint on the circle and added a bicycle.

Here is a list of items that I used:

Green Cardstock - Bazzill
Green Paper - Hobby Lobby
Paper for banners - Hobby Lobby

I Love You....

I Love You To The Moon and Back Again...This is my youngest grandchild Colby.  I have watched him everyday since he was 6 weeks old.  He is now two and his older sister Kenzie entered Kindergarten this year so they decided to put Colby into Children's Courtyard for three days a week.  I miss him a lot for he is such a sweet little boy.  However, I do watch him one day a week!  These sweet little photos are his school picture and I thought they are so cute and knew I had to do a layout.

I used several techniques in this photo.  I inked, distressed, used modeling paste, stencils, sprays, etc.

On this you can see where I used the Distress Stains on the gears and then added beads, pearl, and the zig zag object.  I also added cheesecloth and little pearls.

Here you can see where I used Pop Dots to lift the little bird and leaves and put cheesecloth underneath.  I also used modeling paste and added Shimmering Mist.

This view you can see all the various layers that I have plus the cheesecloth and modeling paste.
