Cherish

Hello my friends!  I did this layout for the Design Team at CSI.  It was about something that we love.  Well, I love to collect and scrap old photos.  These three that I used on this layout is my mom which I got from my grandmother who is 105 years old.

Here is the challenge:

The Scheme:  Used all 5 colors
The Evidence:  Textured Paper, Leaves, Flowers, Ribbon
The Testimony:  Cherish - Everything has beauty, do what you love, love what you do, live everyday with intention

Please see close-ups!

I used a stencil, flowers, die-cut leaves, and ribbon.

Here are the items that I used:

Bazzill Cardstock
Corrugated Cardstock
Cherish - Michaels
Flowers - Petaloo & Prima
Tim Holtz - Leaves die-cut
Ribbon &White Lace - Hobby Lobby

Thank you for taking a peek and have a great day!

Hugs – Ginger

  1. One hundred and Five ! Wow, that is quite something. How lucky you are that she is still around. And, how lucky you are that she had these wonderful old photographs.
I LOVE the papers, especially the flowery one, and the embellishments you chose. They have a vintage look to them that is perfect for scrapping those photos. The rosette and small flowers, the fabric bow, the lace, and the pins with pink beads, are all so pretty. A lovely page featuring your mom. TFS.

  2. What gorgeous photos and so lucky you still have your grandma. My gram is 98. Beautiful florals and I love the lace tucked behind the torn paper. Perfect vintage page that looks fresh!
