Hello friends!  I did this sweet layout for the Design Team at CSI Color Stories Inspiration.  I love everything about this challenge.

This picture is so dear to me.  It is my granddaughter Paityn and her little brother Jaxson.  It is so sweet.
Here is the challenge:

Here is how I solved this case:

The Scheme:  I used all five colors
The Evidence:  Polka Dots, Flowers, String
The Testimony:  Together - On the tag it says:  This is my sweet granddaughter and her little brother.  She is so sweet and gentle with him.  They are sitting underneath a large tree and the breeze is so calming.  I love days like this.

Please see the close-ups!

I added various flowers and used a die-cut for the leaves.

You can see here the various layers of papers that I used.

I cut out a circle, added flowers, and used a die-cut for the word together.  I also used micro beads.

Again you can see the papers and this sweet little butterfly.

Here is a list of products that I used.

Papers - Various papers in my stash
Corrugated white and brown paper - Michaels
Butterflies (Large ones and small one) - Michaels
Martha Stewart Circle Cutter
Flowers - Michaels -
Tim Holtz - Die Cuts Leaves
Prima - Micro Beads

Thank for for looking and have a great day!

Hugs – Ginger

  1. Beautiful mix of patterned papers, Ginger. That lace looks real! I've never seen white corrugated paper before. I'll have to look for it next time I'm at Michaels. The flowers and butterflies are really pretty, and I love those little micro beads. Very nice take on the challenge. TFS.

  2. Love your layout! And that photo is oh so sweet! Happy scrappin'!

  3. What a precious photo and a beautiful layout. Love the lace at the bottom and all your pretty flower clusters and the beads that add such interesting texture!
