Birthday

This layout is me on my first birthday.  January 17th I will be (_ _ ?!!) years old.  Time really flies and before you know it your children have all grown and have children of their own.  However, being a grandmother is so special.

I did this layout for CSI Color Stories Inspiration Challenge.

The Scheme:  I used all 5 colors
The Evidence:  Triangles, String, Banners, Leaves 
The Testimony:  Birthday - Give out what you most want to come back; Be open to whatever comes next;  Love with all your heart

This is my mother whom I miss so very much.  I added small dots to the background plus added these (3) sayings.

I used die-cuts and then added micro beads to the leaves.

What does the word CELEBRATE inspire you to create?
You can choose to add the word somewhere on your project or simply
be inspired to create from it.  Please explain in your blog post
how the word inspired you, if not already obvious.

More Than Words is not only celebrating this month the start of a brand new year.
We are also celebrating our first anniversary in the blogosphere!
We have lots of reasons to party, and nothing screams 'Let's Party!' better
than BLING!  Whether it be sequins, gems, rhinestones, pearls, chunks of glitter glass... we want you to 'bling' it up on your project!

VERY IMPORTANT!
You have to incorporate both requirements of the challenge, the word inspiration AND the creative challenge, on your project to be eligible to win.  Just look at our designers' creations and descriptions as example.  Also, remember that you must include our board image and a link to our blog in your entry post.

I used modeling paste and a stencil and on several I added a crystal to give it some bling!

I used Stickles to add sparkle to the flowers!

I put some ruffled ribbon so give this photo a softer look!  I rather like it!

On these two I wanted to show the layers.
