Garden

Hello friends!  Well I did this layout for More Than Words Challenge.  I actually did this layout without having a photo in mind.  While looking through photos I discovered these two lovely ones of my granddaughter Paityn in her garden.

I used several mediums.  I used extra thick Gesso, a stencil, modeling paste, beads, and etc.  This was fun to create even though I did not have photo until the end.

Here is the challenge.

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.
The challenge is open to layouts, canvases and art journal pages only.
Make sure to carefully read our instructions below.
Word Inspiration - OUTDOORS
Creative Challenge - WOODGRAIN

What does the word WOODGRAIN inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project
or simply be inspired by it.  Since, as you are aware, words
are an integral part of our challenges, we want to know
how this month's word stimulated your creative process,
so please do explain in your blog post how it inspired you!

One of the many scrapbooking trends of the past couple years
that doesn't seem to get old is WOODGRAIN patterns.
We thought that it would go perfectly with our word
inspiration this month. So, whether you use patterned paper,
a stamp, a stencil or the real thing, it doesn't matter.
Show us your woodgrain!

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT MTW RULES!
To be eligible to win, you have to incorporate both requirements of the challenge,
the word inspiration and the creative challenge.
Just look at our designers' projects and descriptions as examples.

You must also include our board image as well as a link to our blog in your entry post.  AND you may combine our challenge with no more than 2 other challenges.

Autumn

Hello my friends!  Here is my layout for the Design Team at CSI.  I thought the colors and the challenge was perfect for these photos which I just love.  They give me a very serene feeling and Fall is my favorite time of the year.

I wish I had taken these photos but I did not.  My youngest sister did while in Wisconsin. They have a home there which they always go to from the beginning of summer to mid October.  They live here in Texas which gets extremely hot so going there during the summer is much better.  One year I just may have to go with her and her husband!

Here is the challenge.

Here is how I solved the case:

The Scheme:  I used all five colors
The Evidence:  Architectural element, Leaves, Wood element
The Testimony:  Autumn "Live" - Live in the moment, Own your dreams, Best day ever

Here are the close-ups:

This is so simple and I love the way it turned out.

 These photos are so gorgeous!

Items that I used:

Prima paper
Other papers from my stash
Petaloo flowers, plus some from Michaels
Martha Stewart circle cutter
SA Crafters - wood items
Butterflies from my stash

Thankkyou for looking and have a wonderful day!
